I’m Jamie and I like making things, both physical and digital, although you’re more likely to find my musings on films and film festivals here.

I’m currently looking after the Online Collection of The Science Museum Group which includes the objects and archives from The Science Museum (London), The National Media Museum (Bradford) and The Museum of Science and History (Manchester).

Prior to entering the museum world I ran a technology company called Kitsite where we developed products and websites for people like the London 2012 Olympics, Focus FeaturesSony Playstation and job and travel sites for The Guardian and as well as our own CMS platform PostCMS. Before starting Kitsite I worked at the Guardian, where I  helped launch guardian.co.uk at the dawn of the millenium.

I’m also on Twitter @jamieunwin which is probably more up to date than here.

If you’d like to get in contact with me about commercial projects or opportunities, feel free to take a look at my LinkedIn profile. My GitHub account can be found here.
